Holbeck Tower Installation

An installation on the exterior of the ten-storey Holbeck Tower, Leeds, that consisted of five pairs of large light boxes. The light boxes were installed on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th floors on a side elevation. The boxes displayed images that depicted strong local landscape characteristics. The installation was produced in response to a residency in a flat on the sixth floor of Holbeck Tower and throughout the course of the project, members of the local community had the opportunity to come face to face with council representatives to share their opinions and to re-envisage their environment.
